Warm Climate & Highly Perishable Items Shipping Restrictions

During warm weather months and year round to warm climate areas - perishable items must be shipped with express shipping due to the volatility of the product. Orders including perishable items--including but not limited to chocolates, chocolate covered items--and heat sensitive items will require a shipment upgrade. Perishable gifts can be in transit no more than 2 business days. PLEASE NOTE: Perishable items ship Monday - Thursday ONLY and we may substitute similar non-perishable items in orders that have not chosen the proper express shipping method to ensure gift arrives in perfect condition. SELECTION OF IMPROPER SHIPPING METHOD WILL RESULT IN ORDER DELAYS & IN SOME CASES (IF THERE IS NOT AN EQUAL NON PERISHABLE REPLACEMENT) ORDER CANCELLATION. If your gift recipient is not present at the time of delivery and damage occurs (including melting) as the result of a delay in claiming the package, we will not be held responsible. Please notify recipient of gift delivery so they will be available for pickup. PLEASE NOTE: Customers choosing shipping methods other than Express Shipping, GiftBasketsforDelivery.com will NOT be held responsible for damage or melting that occurs. NO CLAIMS WILL BE HONORED. TO ENSURE FRESHNESS: Orders that would be in transit over the weekend are held & shipped on Monday. Please choose appropriate shipping method to ensure gifts arrive in timely fashion.
